Norfolk Garden Wedding | Will & Chloe

My favourite type of wedding to photograph has to be one held in a marquee in a Norfolk Garden. They are so relaxed and this is exactly what Will and Chloe had for their big day. I first met Will and Chloe on the hottest day of 2015 at Whitlingham Lake, Norwich for their ‘inlove’ shoot. They were fun and relaxed in front of the camera and I was excited for their big day, just a few weeks from then.

I joined Chloe and her bridesmaids at Will Parent’s house in the pretty little village or Trunch, Norfolk. The morning ws relaxed and gave me time to capture all the pretty details they had worked so hard in incorporating into their day. Beautiful sunflowers, handmade bunting and vintage bits adorned the small but perfect marquee where they were to hold the afternoon celebrations.

I joined will and his best man looking nervous in St Botolph Church, Trunch. The lightest brightest church I’ve ever shot in. The ceremony was lovely and after the signing of the register the whole congregation joined the happy couple at the alter and sang a surprise rendition of Sunrise, Sunset to them, much to their shock and amusement.

We made the short walk back to Whitehouse farm for a relaxed afternoon of eating, drinking and celebrating! The food was delicious, all prepared by Will’s Mum and a few helpers in her kitchen. A perfect relaxed Norfolk garden wedding. The speeches followed the feast and were toped off by the Grooms speech…this was the first and probably only grooms speech that I have heard sung while he played guitar! Perfect!

The afternoon was so relaxed and we had free roam of the farm land around the house. The walled garden, orchards and corn fields with the church in the background for the couple shots. A wedding photographers dream!

The late summer evening was drawing in as the evening guests started to arrive and the party stepped up a notch. A bar in the barn and live music for the whole evening. Will even joined the band and sang to his new wife.

Congratulations to Will and Chloe on the most musical wedding this year!
