Fakenham, Norfolk Wedding | Michelle & Jamie

When I say I bring sunshine to a Norfolk wedding, I really mean it….The weather on the morning of Michelle and Jamie’s wedding was atrocious. Grey skies, torrential rain and flooding. As soon as I arrived at the house where all the girls were getting ready the skies cleared and the sun didn’t stop shining for the rest of the day.

The morning was relaxed with Michelle, her best girls and daughter, Morgan getting ready in a ready made salon at bridesmaids, Leanna’s house. There was lots of laugher as the girls put on their beautiful dresses and exchanged gifts and proud tears when Michelle’s dad saw here for the first time in here stunning wedding dress.

I left the girls to compose them selves and went to meet Jamie, his best men and their son, Rocco at Holy Trinity Church, Hempton, Norfolk. Rocco looked like the smartest, proudest page boy I’ve ever seen. The service was beautiful and with Morgan and Rocco looking proundly on as their mum and dad finally said I do!

After the service congratulations were said, confetti was thrown and some lovely family photographs taken in the fields surrounding the church. We all headed to the Parson Woodforde in Weston Longville for the celebrations to continue. But I couldn’t pass by the fields full of freshly made hay bales for a chance for some more couple shots. You would have never had guessed the weather that morning.

The afternoon celebrations were fun filled and sugar fueled. The guests certainly worked up an appetite on the bouncy castle, I think the adults had more fun than the small people. I have never seen so much cake in all my life. Afternoon tea was served whiles guests could also help them selves to Krispy Creme Donuts, wedding favour cupcakes and cake pops all topped of with an amazing wedding cake!

Before I left Michelle and Jamie to work of all that cake dancing the night away we headed to another field of hay bales with the groomsmen and bridesmaids. I love it when a wedding party are up for creating some memories, jumping off hay bales and throwing bought up in the air!

Congratulations to Michelle and Jamie, they definitely win the prize for the most cake a wedding!
